Badders wins at trail against Allstate, $105,652 awarded to client
NOVEMBER 30 | 2018

Badders Law Firm promises to fight insurance companies when they refuse to step up and protect their insured, even if that means going to trial. On November 28, 2018, that’s exactly what Mari Badders and Matt Hancock did. When Allstate refused to provide their own insured the coverage from her own policy for which she had been paying premiums for years, the team at Badders Law Firm took Allstate to trial. After hearing the evidence, a Polk County jury found that Allstate failed to justly compensate their insured, and awarded Badders Law Firm’s client $105,652, which actually exceeded their policy limits. We are grateful for the opportunity to represent those who are treated unfairly and continue to have success taking these cases in front of a jury, when necessary.

Angelina County Jury Awards $1.768 Million Verdict
JULY 5 | 2018

In 2013, our client was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler at a red light causing significant injury to his neck and spine, requiring extensive treatment including surgery. For years, the insurance company refused to acknowledge that this impact could have caused the injuries. The entire Badders Law Firm team continued to fight for our client and help with his medical costs as the case progressed. Despite multiple attempts to negotiate a realistic settlement that would appropriately compensate our client for incurred medical costs, future medical costs, and lost earning capacity, the insurance company would not budge. They hired “experts” to refute clear evidence that our client was injured as a result of their insured driver’s negligence, paying their experts more than they were willing to pay our client. Eventually, we took the case to an Angelina County Jury. After hearing and evaluating the evidence presented, including medical and biomechanics experts for both sides, they awarded a verdict of over $1.768 million. At Badders Law Firm, we won’t give up until we get our clients everything they deserve and that is available to them. We continue to fight – and we continue to win! If you have been injured, contact the team at Badders Law Firm. When it matters, call Badders!

Insurance Settles to Avoid Trial, Netting Client Just Under $500,000
MAY 2 | 2018

The team at Badders Law Firm has reached a settlement agreement with an insurance company on behalf of a client who was injured by an 18-wheeler. At the time of the crash, the driver of the 18-wheeler didn’t even stop and had to be chased down by our client. As is sometimes the case, our client didn’t go to the hospital immediately following the crash, but began to experience extreme pain the next day. The treating primary care physician identified specific injuries, including post-concussive symptoms, and the client was referred to several specialists. By the end of the case, this client had been forced to endure numerous procedures and surgeries to address the injuries sustained by the negligence of an unattentive driver of a big rig. As a result, the insurance company settled to avoid going to trial and the client was paid almost half a million dollars. This client will always live with the scars, both physical and emotional, of this terrible evening, but now has hope for both a physical and financial recovery.

Settlement Pays Client $1.37 Million!
DECEMBER 11 | 2017

Badders Law Firm, and attorney Jeff Badders, recently settled a lawsuit filed on behalf of a client who was injured in a 2014 motor vehicle crash in Louisiana, resulting in a payout to the client of over $1.37 Million. As a result of the motor vehicle accident, the client is facing bodily injuries and diminished future earning capacity. As our client focused on the necessary treatment needed, our office worked hard to ensure the at-fault driver was held responsible. While no amount of money can adequately restore this client’s quality of life, it will certainly help with his future financial and medical needs.
