Badders Law Firm
is now a third generation law firm
that was started in 1964.

Bill Badders graduated from law school at St. Mary’s in San Antonio, Tx in 1950. Mr. Badders moved to Nacogdoches as an adjuster for an insurance company and married Jeanelle Linthicom, the daughter of Claude and Nellie Linthicom, in 1956. After working for another law firm in town, Bill opened his own firm in 1964.

Jeff B. Badders grew up in Nacogdoches and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 1978. Mr. Badders graduated from Baylor School of Law in 1981 and returned to Nacogdoches to begin representing the injured people of East Texas and surrounding areas. Jeff married Jackie Gibson in 1985 and they have 8 children.

J. Heath Badders, also a native of Nacogdoches and the firstborn son of Jeff & Jackie Badders, graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry in 2012. As the firstborn of 8 children, Heath carried on the family tradition and graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2016. While in law school, Heath met and fell in love with a fellow law student, Mari Weaver. They were married in May, 2016, and together began working alongside Heath’s dad to fight for the injured people of East Texas.

Mari Badders was born in Oklahoma and moved, with her family, to Tokyo, Japan when she was 13. After graduating from an International Academy High School in Tokyo, Mari returned to the states to attend Wake Forest University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Japanese Studies, while also serving in the United State Army. Upon graduation, Mari was commissioned as an Officer serving in the Army Reserves and began law school at South Texas College of Law Houston. Mari graduated in December 2015 and married Heath the following May. In addition to being the newest member of Badders Law Firm, Mari is also a First Lieutenant in the US Army Reserves and an Assistant Professor of Military History at Stephen F. Austin State University.
