Mariko Badders recently joined the Junior League of Lufkin. The Junior League of Lufkin is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The League educates and challenges its members to be effective community leaders, advocates, and individuals. Trained volunteers and collaborators will address and response to community needs with positive solutions. The League’s focus is to educate and empower individuals, primarily children, by providing the resources and tools that will address all aspects of their well-being.
